Magnus The Lyndhurst?

Wrong side of the edge of the town centre. try nearer the station opposite the apex plaza.

Not the Corn Stores? A friend of mine used to work there. (true story)

I'm struggling to see the relevance of a pub 2 miles from the ground to someone's conduct whilst watching a game of football?

handbags_harris Interesting patter ndeveloping if you ask me:- large away following turn up in town, majority stand, Reading fans largely unhindered by the stewarding presence and are also standing unhindered. Very next game with a smaller and less boisterous away following RFC stewards are clearly given directives to utilise a much heavier handed and far less lenient approach. Last two cases in point - Newcastle Utd at home followed by Peterborough Utd, and now Cardiff City followed by Norwich City.

One wonders what will happen the day Coventry City come to town...

We will take the lead and then proceed to lose. Always the same.

I'm hoping once we've established which pub it is the rest will fall into place.

But like you I am harbouring some doubts :|

Was it said that the pub was anything to do with football??? Perhaps he was drunk!!!! and was asked to leave because of it. Can't see how he acted in a pub being relevant to anything.

No presence at all doing the old climbing the stairs malarky and telling everybody to sit down. Coventry City - I am almost inclined to put money down that the stewarding will be utterly pathetic again.

Interesting after the game - those three or four scrotes at the bottom giving it large across the sanctuary of a vehicular exit/entry gangway between the south and east, three tangos around them including the caveman, allowed to carry it on for what, five minutes? Any Reading fan does that, they're carted out guaranteed. And also, while all this was going on, who was being filmed by the tangos at the bottom? Yep, you guessed it, Reading fans on their march down the steps. Pathetic.

Never fails to make me LOL at how riled people get over the stewards.
