I know one shouldn't stereotype, but Newcastle supporters have to be the most parochial and deluded in the country. Perhaps only Scousers are more so.

Villa and Spurs take the Europa places in this league.

Geordie Magpies fan in the office is absolutely fuming, thinks the decision is idiocy. Have to say I agree.

I think my boss, who's an Ipswich fan, would be delighted to see Hughton at Portman Road.

If its true that the players had something to do with his dismissal then it would only go to show what utter cnuts the likes of Barton and Carroll actually are after he's managed to settle them down and get them playing back to their best.

Of course they may have had nothing to do with it, in which case disregard all of that...

Laughable decision all round really, not entirely sure why a side 11th in the league in their first season after getting promted need anything other than a bit of stability. Mind you, 'stability' is a dirty word amongst football club owners now

Now you can see why Ashley got those threats, hes a first class utter cnut.Hughton was a decent bloke who got them up the prem on a shoestring budget and their deluded fans cant start crying now, they wanted him out in the first place. There best years were when a football was a blown up pigs bladder,Ashley should have doubled Hughtons pay for what hes done not sack the poor man, perhaps we could get him

A shoestring budget? Are you having a laugh?

I'd imagine they were the top payers in the league by something like £10m last season!

Silver Fox LOLz

Is one away defeat a bad run of results?

2 points from 15 led to his demise.
and Anchelotti still has a job?

Ashley has really p1ssed off the toon now.

More pathetic kneejerks from a pathetic club in a pathetic league that is progressively making the whole game and its ethics seem even more worthless
