Elmer Park Thought Michail was more of a threat in the wide position than any of the other three who played there at various times last night. It was an ideal situation for him as Norwich were sitting back and letting us have a go at them and judgment on him as a player overall will be easier once we see what he can do in a four man midfield in an away match for example.

However I don't imagine full backs enjoy playing against him with his strength and unorthodox style so he is showing a lot of promise.

dont forget his delap throw as well

Watching Antonio is very similar to watching Kebe in his early days with us. Nobody knows what he is going to do next - certainly not the opposition, probably not his team-mates, and I suspect not even himself. His ability to bamboozle opponents is great - and like early Kebe his cock-ups are as entertaining as the finished product. He is too raw to be a first-team starter, but is a great impact sub.I would be tempted to get him on after 60 minutes to give him more time to make an impact.

He is about as raw as they come, like Bas Savage but with actual ability

We need to give Antonio a go, SERIOUSLY. He looks to provide more creativity, something which were craving for.

Would have rather had him than Howard on the bench today

Dear lord...

HRK I know you're young, you're trying hard and you've got some potential but honestly there needs to be some sort of end product/impact.

I've heard Antonio's had some injury problems but as soon as he's fit he needs to be getting the minutes HRK's currently getting as at the very least Antonio makes an impact from the bench.

Not writing him off long term but right now it's just not there for the lad.

I prefer Antonio as a sub as I feel he's more likely to make something happen by really going for it. I'm less convinced whether he actually knows what he's doing though. And I'm completely unsure of how he'd be with defensive duties over an entire game.

HRK on the other hand would probably be my choice as a starter, because he's much more polished. His final ball and decision making need to improve, but he's got tricks and he can run at players. When he does actually get a cross in he's produced some beauties. I suspect he's more reliable defensively as well.

Pity he didn't do any tricks or run at players when he came on on Friday then. I also thought he was pretty woeful against Stevenage.

Yet he made Rosenior look an idiot on 3 or 4 occasions against Hull.

He barely got given the ball on Friday, the team just didn't want to use utilise the wings properly, particularly after Jobi went into the middle.

A left winger will always look less effective going forward when he has a non-overlapping left back behind him.

The entire team looked pretty woeful against Stevenage IMO. And as I said, he wouldn't be my choice as the impact sub. Also HRK has directly caused more goals than Antonio & played a key role in more goals than Antonio, just fyi.

HRK has had twice the opportunities this season

8 (10) HRK
2 (15) Antonio

369 Minutes = 1 Goals 1 Assists -- A Goal plus an Assist every 369 Minutes Antonio
796 Minutes = 2 Goals 2 Assists -- A Goal plus an Assist every 398 Minutes HRK

Almost a third of Antonio's minutes were in one game, 112 minutes at Torquay

Ian that is your worst comparison EVER based on the amount of minutes Antonio has played.

Lets break this down then....

HRK is more polished (!!!) yet his decision making and final ball need to improve, yet he gets in a cross and produces beauties - you really should be a politician!!

Robson Kanu has in my opinion (and i am one for supporting players) has been woeful for a few games now. For me, he does not run at players, he does not beat his man, and basically contributes very little. Running at players is what Manset and Mcanuff did towards the end of the game on Friday and look at the effect that nearly had.

Antonio was rated as one of the best players in league one when on at loan, yet does not get a start here. Manset rated as one of the better players in league 2, yet is now getting a run in the team even starting from the bench.

We need to start winning matches, not drawing, Antonio has numerous credentials which would allow us to do that, including his throw. This man has to start and start at Norwich.
