I thought he was very good at Plymouth

In fact I was hoping we'd get him when he left

Probably the best player in the championship.

However, if QPR get promoted I can see him struggling. A bit like Dorrans at West Brom.

Someone who doesn't try to do everything himself. In fact Shane Long falls into that category.

This thread is full of jokers.

I thought he only scored a dozen goals in three seasons?

Not denying his scoring stats, but he was much more of an attacking mid/forward.

Certainly rinsed us senseless down at Plymouth (and was the only player doing anything the season they went down)

Gotta go with Finerain on this one - Would sooner have Sigurdsson in the side than Taarabt personally.

Taarabt will score more this season than Sigurdsson did last

Could do, will be close though.

As i've said, Taarabt is quality and would walk into any team but for me personally, I think Sigurdsson offers more as a whole package.

That's an interesting proposition.

That would also make Sigurdsson the new Andy Hughes.

Dorrans hasn't really played this season. He was a class above against us last year.

All I'll say is that if Gylfi went for £7M then Taraabt will go for £10M+

Sigurdsson > Taarabt

imo, The Sigs scoring week in week out in the Bundesliga, currently Taarabt scoring every few weeks in the Championship but still a lot of assists.

It's a toughie.

Both a class apart in this division. It doesn't really matter who is better anymore.
That said, Gylfi's the man because he was ours...
