Printed or electronic ticket?

by Forbury Lion » 05 Jan 2011 13:59

Booked my West Brom ticket late, Season ticket seat taken so sitting elsewhere, Ticket office said a paper ticket would have to be sent.

Confirmation e mail says it'll be on my member card - confused, no paper ticket received yet.

been on the phone in the queue for the ticket office now for 10 mins waiting in position 1 in the queue

Well, tbf, it's not really a problem, but it does seem a bit odd - as normally they just put it on your ST I thought, if you've secured your ST seat.

Maybe you bought it after the initial "buy your own seat" period had finished?

I bought my usual season ticket seat early, no paper ticket.

I bought my own st seat on the first day and when sales were opened up to non st holders I bought another for a member and in both cases the TO said they would go on our cards and no paper ticket would be issued.

Bit of a mess then really - would have been far easier to have put the ticket on ST cards/Member cards.

Perhaps it is a huge cokc up, and you can use the card AND the paper ticket, worth a go I would have thought. One thought would be to check the online ticketing thingy and see if the seats you have are sold, also perhaps your purchase history as well.

Both of mine are on member cards. One an upgrade. There is me thinking it would be a problem getting a seat next to mine after a weeks gap.
