Sadly so. I couldn't believe the red seats on show at Sunderland in particular. They're going well in the Premier League and have as good a chance as most to win some silverware this season, I expected even a 30,000 attendance, but their's was a measly 17,582.

wasn't it £10/£5 for the Burnley FAC game this time last season?

Probably £15 - think that's the minimum charge allowed as part of the competition regulations for rounds 3 and 4.

not arguing (the grey matter is failing lately), although I'm sure it was cheaper than that...........and the crowd was a meagre 11k on an early kick off?

Whilst I think £15 is fair - I think it's disgusting that the FA impose a "minimum" charge.

the whole point is that you get the best deal for the smaller/visiting club

tbf they could have made it a 5 er and wed still have had a half empty stadium.
