A little miffed at watching the adverts for this and they show Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Plymouth.. not Reading. Currently the better of all the local clubs. Same old same old.

How long have you been living in the area? Are you not aware of the work of BBC South?

Is that our "designated" station? How about South East? or are the obsessed with Gillingham and Crystal Palace?

I got sl8ed on here during the Premiership years for saying that the BBCRB Monday morning slot with him on was unlistenable - the guy's far too serious for the media

Late Kick Off was very disappointing last season and I only watched last night to see if they had revamped it but they hadn't. The region is too large so no Club gets any quality coverage and the panellists aren't able to add anything worthwhile to the programme as they only get one line on each subject. Regional football programmes are difficult because the Television Companies think that fans should want all Clubs in the region to do well whereas the reverse is true. Rosenior is pretty good as a pundit but Murty isn't cut out for punditry.

Murty wasn't too bad on the BBCRB programme when he first started doing it but once brought his wife in and changed the emphasis away from football and onto child care it became a family love in with the presenters family and should have moved to ITV daytime TV.

I'd far rather Murty was a pundit on the Football league show than Claridge.

Murty and God love him Rosenior are both utter pigswill as pundits.

It was awful, especially the commentary for the goals, with Murty having his little say.

I've met Graeme before and I can confirm the above is false. He's a nice guy no problems there, to be honest I hate all football pundits. They are all morons like Merson or Dowie who can't speak properly or just bring out a load of clichéd shit.

I do like Lee Dixon though.....he seems to be the only one who sounds like he knows what he's talking bout

Maybe 'a complete pcunt' is a bit strong. However, a source close to the club revealed to me that GM is very keen to come across as a nice guy through the media and give the impression that he would do anything for anyone, when in fact he is quite an arrogant bastard.

It's not just the south but the west as well! Just another excuse to see the same goals from the football league show and you can watch online. So don't bother.

BBC Late Kick Off

by Big Foot » 14 Feb 2011 23:10

Tuning into this for first time...have to say Graeme Murty is making Leroy Rosenior look like the world's best pundit
