I've mentioned this on the FA Cup thread m8!

You would have thought, a club that haven't won anything for 35 years or so would get a bigger crowd than that, considering they have a realistic chance of winning a trophy this year. Plus the fact ALL their fans come from Manchester so they haven't got far to travel.

Get it right - Stopfordians, not Mancs. Blue percentage of Stockport > blue percentage of MCR.

Have you conducted a census of the area to conclude this

I know I'm obsessed but that attendance really is a disgrace, big away following and City doing all they could to get people through the gate. No doubt though next time they play United at home it will be a full house and the giddy twats will be singing "we're not really here" and "35 years and we're still here" well no you thick f*cks, you're not still there at all.

Why don't they let them in for nothing? Lets face it the owners don't need the money the recipts from that game won't even cover Tevez weeekly wage.

So, City didn't sell out their allocation at Birmingham last night. Not really that far considering all their fans are from Manchester and they're a massive club.

Chelsea sold about half of their allocation last night.

Only a few clubs that sell out everywhere

Man Utd
Liverpool
Newcastle
Leeds

Only a handful of real big clubs.

London to Sunderland is a tad further than Manchester to Birmingham, though!?

Absolutely.

I was more making the point that there are really only a handful of clubs that sell out everywhere they go. City, Chelsea, even Arsenal and Spurs don't either.
