Cardiff Away

by Readingfanman » 20 Jan 2011 14:41

Just bought my Cardiff tickets, and I didn't expect us to sell out or even get close really, but I asked how many we've sold and so far, we have sold a grand total of 237. Where is everyone?

I do not think that we would take more fans to Hull or Doncaster away than Cardiff surely?

The last frenzy we had like that was Arsenal / Highbury which was more understandable.

At £27 a ticket, you can understand why people aren't willing to go. I am however going.
Oh, and it's a midweek game.

I found with last seasons 0-0 draw there that the new stadium is soulless and less intimidating than ninian park

wouldn't be going if I'd paid enough attention to realise I'd have to leave early to get back to Reading that night. Bought me ticket already though, so I'll be there.

Or the Britannia Stadium, Stoke. With its open away end, without the corners filled-in and with a gusty wind, its dam cold!

Or Kennilworth Road, on a February Friday night! That was seriously sub-zero!

Ah, but Oldham is high up on the moors (second highest league ground, goddammit!   ) and the wind comes straight in - f'ing fezzing.
