Red
brendywendy the world would be a better place if everyone just started out with that as their default position imo

You should get some t-shirts done.

Bottom line is you don't see Des Lynam and Jon Motson behaving like this do you.

never- and theyd have a better chance of getting into their female colleagues knickers as a result.

I wonder if he'll still be the commentator on FIFA 12.

Kelly Smith ,the English lady footballer, describes the words spoken by these dreadful chaps as "evil".
To paraphrase Keys (can't remember the exact words) Get real luv.
Adolf Hitler's words were evil.
That bloke with the hook for a hand speaks evil.
Keys and Gray evil?
At worst the words were ill-chosen surely?

Royal Rother
BR2 ...she has previously posed for (and presumably got paid)a lads mag.

This implies to me that she is not averse to earning money by titillating the male species on the basis that it's usually men who buy the lads mags.

I wonder if Andy Gray's lawyers are now approaching whoever took those photos to establish whether the girl ever said anything sexually provocative to the photographer or whether he said anything to her that she accepted at the time to be sexist.

This is not a 60 year-old spinster sunday school teacher who just might have been offended by Gray's suggestion.

Some people might use the example that prostutes can still be raped as a counter argument but I reckon Gray would have had previous banter with this girl and that he has now been stitched up by what I called in earlier posts a creep.

Do we really want an abundance of creeps in our society who delight in snitching?

I don't but maybe some of you on here do and if so I hope that you get snitched upon.

This really needs to be read at least twice to get the full effect.

And I always had you down as one of the slightly less dim on here.
The logic on third reading seems clear to me but that might be because I have a clear mind.

This paves the way for a live football dream team, Keys, Gray, and special guest Ron Atkinson.

ESPN need to get on this NOW.

and for the record, whilst they should both know better in front of camera's, i think they have been royally stitched up, and will end up skysports loss. Not condoning their comments at all, but it just sums up the shit country we live in compared to 10 or more years ago.

Yep, you can certainly plot the decline of UK culture and the 'current' demise of a couple of Football pundits on the same line downwards.
It all makes sense.

Focher ...will end up skysports loss.

I very much doubt that. Like it or not, the world has moved on from where we were 10+ years ago Focher.

They've had their time; doing what they did for 20 years is now over. And the damage has been done - whether or not they have been stitched up is irrelevant now. I suspect sponsors and advertisers will have their say and prevent them becoming key presenters on TV again. No-one wants to be even remotely associated with that kind of stuff in the 21st Century.

Agree with both. This fcuking country. Whatever your views on what they said, they have been totally stiched up, and that's made me mad

....and Rio, banned for 8 months for missing a drug test.....FCUK OFF.

I am raging tonight. Two men lose their jobs for 'off the cuff comments', which have actually offended nobody.

I am interested in this notion of them being stitched up. What does that actually mean?

Nobody set them up to say / do what they said. Nobody suggested these were the views they should hold. In fact I believe it is expressly in their (very modern) Contracts of Employment with Sky that such behaviour would result in disciplinary procedures being implemented.

Stitch up? No way. Their sort are out of step with the modern world (of TV Broadcasting and beyond) and, specifically, when employed by huge corporations whose attitudes towards this sort of behaviour are becoming ever more strict.

Stitched up in that all this evidence that has appeared all of a sudden, I don't think anyone is actually referring to them being stitched up any other way.

Hmm, you see I don't see how that can really be construed as a "stitch up". :|

The only reason it's out there is because they said / did it...
