Confirmed. Crawley missed two penalties as well.

I'd love a home tie with Crawley in the 5th round. Not because they should be the easy tie, but for the fact that a tie like that is what this competition is all about.

Hardly. Crawley have spent more money on their squad than Torquay have on theirs.

Serves them right if they get knocked out.

Embarassment  i know your fishing bedding but even so.

Crawley Town have spent more than all of Leagues 1 and 2 combined this season. Their wage bill compared to Torquay's will be double at a minimum, they are a League 1 side playing in BSP. In the same way that Gretna were in Scotland for a bit, I think Crawley will go the same way as them in the long run.

Having said that I watched the game online and Torquay never turned up apart from our excellent goalkeeper Bevan who saved 2 penalties, we never even forced their keeper into a save.

Best chance will ever have of making round 5 and after beating 2 sides from a higher league to get this far, it was a crap draw but a winnable game and just never performed.

I can't wish Crawley well because what they are doing is a Chelsea/Man City buy anyone in sight policy and their management team is the most odious pair of c*nts that have ever existed. Majorly gutted tonight though because like I said Torquay didn't even remotely perform today.

You have just described an embarrassing performance.
It is true that Torquay always fail at the 4th Round isn't it?

Dunno if it's fair to say it's a failure for a club the size of Torquay to go out in round 4. It's quite an achievement. But if you mean have they ever been further, the answer is no. This was their best chance without a doubt.

Wasn't an embarassing performance, there wasn't a lot between the teams. Torquay played with 10men for half an hour, a good finish from a centre forward that cost 10 times more than the entire Torquay squad settled the tie.

Disappointing more than embarassing, sense of a missed opportunity.

Arsenal in trouble at home to Huddersfield. I am watching the game on Fox Soccer Plus and if Stephen Hughes claims again that someone 'did ever so well', I might scream.

Is there a bigger c*nt in football than Cesc Fabregas? Screams at the ref to send the Hudds player off then gives it the big'un after knocking in the pen to knock out a League One side.

Agreed. I also didn't like the way he picked the ball up after the penalty and carried it off into the corner in order to (already) start wasting some time.

Lucky pen too. Very harsh on Huddersfield, they gave a really good account of themselves. Arsenal can consider themselves very lucky!
