AthleticoSpizz crikey.some loses..a draw...........and a few scabby wins....one of which, the opposition scored for them

Hail King Kenny

Still a long way to go

Nobody is saying they will make a Champs League place but as I said earlier from where they were 7th isn't too spawny.
Some of you really do have a problem with Liverpool and I can never understand why unless it is envy directed against England's most successful club.

How is the recovery going to go now that Lollerpool seem to be accepting the loss of Torres (BBC Sports News website this afternoon).

They'll be a Schards special - mid-table mediocrity

A few things to consider why people don't like Liverpool...

1) Their fans. Murderers. Mugging their own fans for tickets, smashing up the toilets at Old Trafford the other week in the FA Cup (not the first time they have done this).

2) Hillsbrough - yes it was a tradgedy but the justice thing is wearing a little thin now. What about Hysel? Wonder why they don't bring that up every year on the anniversary?

I could go on and on to be fair..

Chelsea fans aren't exactly brilliant people either. Remember some sending Sonko and Hunt threatening hate mails?

........and they are still (even as we type) carping on, going over the same old, same old ifs buts and maybes on national radio. The whole topic of Torres is currently dominating everything media wise at the moment (day 4), I fail to see why the hysteria.

Shouldn't you be wandering around L4 with a Torres shirt, a can of petrol, some matches and a video camera?

It's the media m8.
The same happened when Shrek was on about leaving Man Utd
The same happened when the other ugly one was on about leaving City
The same happened when a couple of old boys said a few words when not on air.

The fact is this would be the most expensive transfer between English clubs by miles and so there is bound to be a bit of interest especially when the most successful club in English football is about to sell one of it's best players to a club with very little history but exceptionally deep pockets.

Torres to Chelsea makes sense. A player that's in terminal decline moving to a club that's heading the same way. Though I suppose anywhere is a step up from Lollerpool atm.

So you learnt all of this in history lessons at school?
If you had been around in the 70s and witnessed the mob violence of Chelsea,Man Utd,Leeds and Millwall fans you might not be quite so quick to damn the fans of just one club.
Smashing up toilets?
Big deal.
Were you at the Reading game v Cardiff a few years ago when their fans were throwing bricks and whatever else they could find at little kids?

it may be the media (a result of the current sky driven greed is good philosophy)

but why are we expected to swallow it?....it is very slowly and incidiously killing the game

Massive stories all weekend...none of which involved Liverpool nor Chelsea....and yet, all stories lead back to Liverpool and Torres (Liverpool who incidently have been "ahem", less than successful in recent years)

Share you sentiment about Chelsea tho' VC (still hated more than Man City)

The question was about people hating Liverpool so much and I gave some reasons. What has Chelsea got to do with it?

LOL @ Victor.

I didn't know any of that happened in the 70s m8.

As with Spacey, we're discussing Liverpool, not other teams.
