England central midfield pairing I'd be interested in seeing:
Parker & Wilshire. I think it'd be busy, neat and involve good short passing and movement.

Anyone else noticed that without Lamps and Stevie on the pitch we seem alot more patient and willing to build up slowly? I'm not sure I have seen England keep possesion for this long before. All thats need is a bit more of a creative spark to this midfield and I reckon Wilshere could be that and we suddenly look alot more technical.

I'm really impressed with the intelligence in Parker's play. Short and neat. If nothing on keep it moving until there is instead of pumping a long one forward to chase or win in the air. We look such a better footballing team like this.

Yep and I am sure that is because there is no lamps and stevie just turning and lumping it the second their doesn't seem to be a pass on.

You know, the goal that he screwed up by being offside for no good reason.

Thought Glen Johnson, (through gritted teeth) Ashley Cole, Scott Parker, Wilshire and Cahill all looked good from what I saw. Decent performances from Young, Downing, Bent and Milner too.

Parker was excellent. Somewhat surprising he's never played for a top club.

Looked a lot better when we had more defensive midfielders in the 4-2-3-1 - Lampard and Wilshire together were a bit lightweight.

Glen Johnson had one of the worst opening 15 minutes of football i've seen from a seasoned international, but improved significantly. Ashley Young was very impressive, pick him ahead of Rooney to play behind Bent in the Wales game!

After last night I would be tempted to play a 4-2-3-1
Hart
Johnson Terry Ferdinand Cole
Parker Barry
Walcott Wilshere Young
Bent

With Milner swapping for either winger I dont mind. That team would at least look to try and play football rather than the hoof ball we always resort to.
