Harpers So Solid Crew Once again this shows a good arguement for the dropping off of Royalty points after a certain time.

Royalty Points started in 2004/05, so a full 6 seasons now, so anyone with 6 years of holding a ST should have 1600, assuming they have attended a few away or Cup games since then.

Some of us old timers that attended more pre points are fully fecked, just 122 points here, hardly enough to get into a reserve fixture.

That's because you don't go to games anymore! Or do you think because "you used to go a lot" in far off years you should be entitled to as many points as people who have been going year on year, home and away, and with a Season Ticket? :|

2800 for villa would have been even more extraordinary. Good job Craig isn't in charge at Crawley, he'd have probably asked for 250 from man utd based on their recent away support. Were STAR consulted at all? Surely they would know demand would be high.

It is likely that Notts had the tickets on SOR, they sold 16k for the home tie, and will have been cheap tickets for the replay I would guess, the demand was not there from City fans, as the 27k attendance showed.

IF this game sells out, then it will show that Man C did the right thing by their supporters, this time next week we should know.

oh dear, my brother and family live locally and thought it would be "easy" to get a ticket.

Might it be possible to get a HOME ticket on the day?

Hardly, when they've got a whole tier shut.

Is it possible they haven't actually asked for any more because of the offer of free coach travel to "all supporters" was a mistake and should have specified only the 2800? Another 4000 tickets could have cost another £80K on coaches.

They haven't specifically said that they asked for any more.

Funny thing is you look at the Man C site and there is very little about the game, I cant see any comments re closed areas anywhere. However if you go to this page and watch the slideshow you will see Moo in one of the pics, sort of top right of the picture!!!!!

Out of interest, what's to stop us all going to Man City and buying home tickets in one area for this match? Not ideal, but when there aren't enough away tickets, the home side aren't as interested and you've gotta go...

This is all I can find on the FA Web Site re ticketing:
DISTRIBUTION OF TICKETS
(a) All Rounds Preceding the Semi-Finals
In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up
to 15% of all accommodation for which tickets are issued providing these tickets are in a
fully segregated area, and subject to the following regulations:
(i) The request for tickets shall be made within two days of the draw.
(ii) The tickets allotted to the Visiting Club, if numbered and reserved, must be of equal
value to those retained by the Home Club.
(iii) In cases of replays, the Club playing away in the replay must make a request for
tickets prior to the original match in order to ensure that the replay tickets are in the
possession of the club playing away in the replay at the latest immediately on
conclusion of the original match.
(iv) The Visiting Club shall be responsible for the payment of all tickets asked for and
allotted, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs in writing with a copy sent to The
Association. All questions in dispute shall immediately be referred to The Association.
(v) The Visiting Club should settle with the Home Club for sales of tickets on or before
the day of the match.
(vi) Any tickets not sold by the Visiting Club should be returned to the Home Club with
their statement of tickets sales.
(vii) In the Competition Proper, a Visiting Club shall be entitled to one third of the seats
usually reserved and known as “Home and Visiting Directors’ Seats” up to a
maximum of 24 seats.
(viii) Where disabled facilities are provided, a Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up
to 15% of this accommodation.
(ix) Where it is deemed desirable, the Professional Game Board shall have the right to
vary the allocation of tickets to the Visiting Club, or require a match to be made all ticket

Nothing about further allocations and the timescales. :|

because we're Away supporters and it might cause trouble?
because we won't all be able to get tickets together and will end up dotted around the ground?
because it won't be as enjoyable as being able to watch the game with your fellow supporters?
because it shouldn't be necessary?

What do STAR think about all this?

In their statement RFC claim a deadline for more tickets of wednesday last week, and that they saw no reason to increase the numbers as "naturally" free coach travel had not been considered.

Duck and cover.

No. That was offered after the decision to take only 2800 tickets.

A mate of mine knows a guy in the ticket office, and he also said what's been suggested here, that the club didn't want to risk taking the full 5800 allocation having to pay up front. Given the money we'll make from the tie it seems a little short-sighted.

Maybe if we'd taken more than 912 to Everton in the last round they'd have felt a little more confident, but the fact is a trip to Eastlands isn't going to tempt people the way a "day out" at Old Trafford would.

I do think the rules should be changed, however, to stop clubs demanding tickets be paid for in advance. Or at very least specifiy a minimum that need to be offered on sale or return.

You need to buy a £20 city card.

Finally found the closed part, is Level 3 in the East/ Bell End. An possibly level 3 of the West as none avaiable, tho it could be that they are full of ST holders.

So far there are no seats available in the north or Bell End Level 2, Open sale for remaining tickets starts today at 1pm.

Shame we did not end up at OT, at least they can sell out.
