TBM Poor poor first touch from Bendtner

The last person you'd want arsenal's only chance to win the game to fall to, it would be that useless donkey

Barca have been so profligate (and Almunia so solid) you almost sense one going in off Bendtner's arse

I did like Alan Smith's "You want a game between two great football teams to be decided by a great bit of football" I'm sure he'd be saying the same if Arsenal went through with no shots and an og?

With the exception of MU, I'd agree.

Every reason to be. Defend referee's but he had a shocker tonight.

Its alright Souness saying Arsenal are clutching at straws, but at that point with 35 mins to go Arsenal were level.

If Bendtner had scored the ref probably would have disallowed it anyway.

LUX wonder if anybody else is playing tonight?

lol at people on here complaining about Barca being brilliant, when that is all we get in England about Arsenal.

At least Barca win things.

The Spanish league is just a gloryfied Scottish Premier........so you cant count that and in Europe, they have cheating officials or cheating players giving them a helping hand

But apart from that, i agree

Nothing like a national stereotype and just to prove it there are some wonderful impressions of little Englanders on this thread . The Spanish - well, Catalans - are cheats and the English - Well, French - are fine upstanding sportsmen victims of those mean referee's (Tonights was awful btw).

As for La Liga being a "gloryfied SPL" As has been said before since the Premier League began four different teams have won the league in the same time 5 different teams have won La Liga.

My prediction was absolutely spot on.

Barcelona are absolutely fantastic to watch (the best club side by some distance that I have ever seen) but man oh man that was one of the worst red cards I have ever seen. Nobody but nobody would have given a 2nd yellow there unless they stood to gain from doing it.

Whether consciously or sub consciously, whether financially on the night or by raising his profile for future endorsements (Collina anyone) something was on his mind there. Terrible terrible decision, probably scandalous.

Still, as I say, Barcelona are totally breathtaking at times and we should count ourselves lucky to be able to witness such a team.

Thing that really annoyed me tonight was Cesc Fabregas. What a suck up to the Barca players! Everytime there was an altercation - he was there dragging the Arsenal player away from one of his bestest Barca buddies. Why doesnt' he just fack off to barca as soon as he can and be done with it!
