Because Sidwell and Harper were clearly not quite good enough and, skilfull though they undoubtedly are, Pennant and Bentley clearly aren't made of the right stuff.

Wilshere is a fantastic talent. It wouldn't matter if he was at Arsenal, Chelsea or Sunderland. However, Arsenal is a great place to be for any young player under Arsene Wenger's coaching.
