30' in and Milan are looking much the more likely. I don't remember Milan being as quick and lively as this at San Siro - drugs, I feel, are the only sensible reason.

And ref the diving discussion on the Arsenalona thread, the Ghanaian left back, Boateng, is what can only be described as a 'flopper'.

Does the champions league require fans to be so far back from the pitch? Whats with the netting?

Bigger advertising boards for th CL, so the first few rows are always netted off.

The 2nd biggest spenders since 2005 in the PL aren't looking great at the moment. Milan looking dangerous.

I wish spurs would do something else rather than lump it to crouch, who heads across goal for a Milan player to get there first

It's like groundhog day

Agreed allthough have to feel sorry for Crouch as everytime he goes near the ball its deemed to be a foul.

AC are no Barca, plus Spurs have spent a considerable amount more money than Arsenal.

Would like to see Spurs Barca in the next round. Bale v Alves.

Another classic bit of ITV work - not showing the pitch when the final whistle blew.

Great night for Spurs although not one of Harry's greatest tactical evenings except for the well organised defence. For some reason they seemed to play exactly how the Milan Coach said they would by lumping it forward to Crouch and got no support up to him. Crouch would have been a much better player if he had ever learnt what is and isn't a foul as he continually climbs all over his opponents, wrestles them to the ground and looks bewildered when he is penalised. Think he had about seven fouls given against him tonight and I thought only one was incorrect.

Unusually good defensive performance from Spurs though but I just have this feeling that Gomes is going to cost them somewhere along their European adventure.

^^^ This. It doesn't matter how tall you are, constantly sticking your arm into the head of the defender will get penalised.
