some may argue the point....the old european cup was "knock out" from round one to final....a different animal..but back to the question..has any english club to date won the lot?

No Fixed Abode it should only really be the champions, so no marks like Spurs wouldn't get in the competition.

The truest words you've ever spoken m8 (apart from RIP Mark Sp8)
The Champions League is the ultimate in 'Mod£rn Football' A competition geared up to make sure as many of the supposed 'big clubs' in the world get through in, play a load of pointless matches which they can cover world wide on television. It is an absolute mickey mouse competition with 1 aim, to generate as much money as possible. What a disaster in 95 when little ol Blackburn won the league?! That's no good, we need Man utd and Liverpool in there somehow?!?! Or more recently in Germany we can't have anyone other than Bayern Munich in there, it's just not cricket.
The last time Spurs were Champions of England my Dad was 9 years old, England were still dreaming about hosting the World Cup in 1966 and the shilling was very much regular currency. What in the name of Christ are they doing in this competition? Oh they finished 4th.....err yeah still waiting for the answer? Thought it was the Champions League?
Absolutely dire tournament, created by a load of fat cats for the modern football armchair fan. NO FANKS.

frimmers3 and by some divine intervention tottenham won it this year, would they become the only english club to make a "clean sweep" of all top flight domestic and european cup competitions?

cmonurz What is the actual issue people have with a 'champions' competition that includes teams other than those who won their leagues?
When Liverpool won it in '77, they beat Crusaders, Trabzonspor, St Etienne, FC Zurich, before Moenchengladbach in the final. In '81, to reach the semi-finals, they beat OPS, Aberdeen and and CSKA Sofia.
There was arguably more talent in Liverpool's '05 group stage (Monaco, Olympiakos, Deportivo) than that above.
