I think it's a brilliant development - two very intelligent and articulate managers who aren't afraid to speak their minds and have nothing to lose by doing so.

In particular, SC will be asked about the economics of running a team and competing against teams with far more money. I'm sure we'll get some very interesting insights into RFC's finances while he was here.

So we need to spend thousands of tax payers money to answer these questions?

* Should football clubs in the UK be treated differently from other commercial organisations? NO
* Are football governance rules in England and Wales, and the governing bodies which set and apply them, fit for purpose? NO
* Is there too much debt in the professional game? YES
* What are the pros and cons of the Supporter Trust share-holding model? NONE
* Is Government intervention justified and, if so, what form should it take? YES BUT THEY WILL DO oxf*rd ALL
* Are there lessons to be learned from football governance models across the UK and abroad, and from governance models in other sports? AS ABOVE

Steve Coppell is likely to disclose a lot of information about the financial management and financial position of RFC, topics frequently enough discussed here and of relevance to today's team.

It will tell will tell us things we already know, a handful of people will have a w*nk frenzy, nothing will be done with the points raised and a week on all will be forgotten.
