Thomas L'Heureux GC and Dirkers, do you remember Shane Long petulantly throwing his shirt at Coppell when he was taken off at Anfield?

Completely agree. Football, and the way it's played, can often by described as an extension of one's personality.
For example, Zidane was like an artist with an attention for detail and delicate with his touch. Somebody like Scott Parker is a real grafter that wears his heart on his sleeve; he's passionate and determined. A player like Taarabt is confident, cocky and greedy. He wouldn't play the way he does without that aspect of his personality; it's what makes him the player he is.
The Championship and below rarely see players of Taarabt's type and ability. The lower divisions are mainly made up of highly determined professional types. That's what sees him go against the grain but you need to take the rough with the smooth.
Look at Cristiano Ronaldo as another example; he's petulant and childish but loves being the centre of attention and exciting people.

Mr Angry Depends what you want; a team full of Mary Poppins', or a team that wins?
So the guy is a tw@t? Genuinely- apparantly Mozart was a tosser as well. All I know is that if he was playing in proper (rather than fake) hoops, firstly he would be hero worshipped, and secondly I suspect we would be higher up the table than we already are.

Not really no. Little was a flair player but didn't have arrogance and petulance of some. He wasn't even lazy with his defending either.
Taarabts weaknesses are just that, weaknesses, and make him a lesser player than he could be. If he didn't have them he'd have made managed to get close to a place in the Spurs team but as it is it's taken Warnock to build a team around him to complement his strengths and weaknesses.
