bigmike I think the only thing Reading should do is set the deadline for renewal to 15 May. This would allow Familys who are strapped for cash the chance to save up.
Also as its for renewals it would not have an adverse affect on new sales as these sales can still occur whilst tickets are being held for renewal.
Also May 15 would give ample time for cash to be recieved before the transfer window opens
