The Royal Book

by Compo's Hat » 04 Apr 2011 19:45

Seriously, have RFC come up with a worse idea for their website!

Makes some of the posters on hna look like they know what they're talking about.

This is 2011 - football today is all about building the brand by the cross-functional leveraging of interactive social media, you know......

No need to put the dreary social network rubbish on the official website though.

I prolly wouldn't mind the official twatter feed if they didn't use it for text commentary

Or if there was ever anything on it that wasn't massively over-stating the positives - or if there was ever something negative on there to give the rest balance and credibility.

I'm not sure you should expect anything negative? what i don't want to read is that Nicky Hammond has just parked his car and the goalposts are going to be put up shortly

There is being positive and then there is being ridiculously over the top.

Let's face it, this is the same obsession to be "interactive" that makes the Football League Show waste valuable time when they could be covering matches on pointless comments that don''t add value or enrich anyone's life in the slightest.

Be interactive when it's worthwhile - don't be interactive just for the sake of it!

I am pretty sure the guy running it was the guy running the unofficial Reading one. And they hired him...

He now gets to go in the dressing rooms before games etc... not a bad gig if you ask me...
