The sports media and a yearning for yesteryear

by Royal With Cheese » 03 Apr 2011 11:02

I'm just about pig sick of the self perpetuating sport media in this country. Too often it is them that shake the jar of wasps just to see what happens.

It reminds me of less savoury moments in Big Brother to be honest.

Just listen to the rediculous prodding of managers post match and the constant lamenting that Morinho would be good back in the English game. Fcuk the English game and the fact he's a bare faced liar, it's the interest he generates for pundits that they want.

The Sunday Suppliment on Sky is just about sums up what is bad about the game currently.

Sometimes I yearn for the days where we read the manager thoughts in the Sunday papers and there weren't 90 cameras at every game giving referee's effectively no chace in the officiating of a game.

Actually - not sometimes, it's all the time.

Rant over.

I utterly agree.

Short term, anti-intellectual rubbish.

No need to, everyone agress with you but sadly there isn't a sage nod of the head emoticon available.
