Sepp Blater I'm not making a snap decision until I've seen the length and tightness of the shorts being worn.

Can't imagine it taking off, because the standard of football is so low. Not to say there aren't some very good players dotted around the teams, but the passing and technical ability as a whole is no better than Conference standard.

Much worse than conference, but as long as it's competitive - it's alright.
At best, It'll be semi-professional.

Why aren't the Reading Ladies in it?

It was done on a franchise basis, with teams applying to join. ISTR 11 or 12 clubs applied to join and 8 were granted licences - there are some quite stringent financial regulation and licence conditions that Reading didn't try to meet because they're run on a different basis.

Because of the financial investment required to be a club in the Super League, there'll be no relegation for the first few years (3?) to allow clubs to stabilise.

Are they a different club to Reading FC Women, currently 2nd in the Premier?!

They also tried to get a spread across the country.

So:

Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Everton
Bristol Academy
Birmingham City
Doncaster
Lincoln

So spread that there are 3 sets of genuinely local derbies there; no team in the North East, and none in the North West outside the City of Liverpool.

Good luck, but its all a bit....fake really.

Tbh it's difficult to get a huge spread of teams when the number of genuinely competitive teams is so small.
