How many grounds have you visited that used to be in the 92?

by Schards#2 » 16 Apr 2011 11:08

When working out how many of the current 92 I've been to, I was surprised by how many I've been to that no longer count. I've always thought of the 92 as being mostly static but it really isn't. My count is the following 27 but I'm sure some oldies can better that as there are plenty of other I can think of:

Arsenal
Man City
Stoke
Wigan
Cardiff
Swansea
Reading
Millwall
Hull
Coventry
Scunthorpe
Brighton
Southampton
Wimbledon
Colchester
Bristol Rovers
Chesterfield
Rotherham
Oxford
Northampton
Cambridge
Mansfield
Luton
Newport
York
Chester
Halifax

So you've never been one to go to many games then...

My list is very similar to Schards, but 6 or 7 less I think. I'd forgotten about going to Dorchester as well!

I only started going to away games in 2005, bar Oxford in the cup once. I only got to one Prem away game. This season I haven't been to many games at all and I still go to more home games than I do away anyway.

No, but they are in the Conference, so not 'in the 92' (as stated in the thread title and OP)

I'd narrowed it down to Kensal Rise athletic ground or the Royal Agricultural Society showgrounds.

Good question....

1 Grimsby - Blundell Park
2 Bolton - Burnden Park
3 Walsall - Fellowes Park
4 Arsenal - Highbury
5 Cambridge - Abbey Stadium
6 Luton - Kenilworth Road
7 Wrexham - Racecourse Ground
8 York - Bootham Crescent
9 Rotherham - Millmoor
10 Millwall - The Den
11 Boston - York Street
12 Newport County - Somerton Park
13 Chesterfield - Saltergate
14 Colchester - Layer Road
15 Reading - Elm Park
16 Leicester - Filbert Street
17 Coventry - Highfield Road
18 Derby - Baseball Ground
19 Bristol R - Eastville, Twerton Park
20 Cardiff - Ninian Park
21 Oxford - Manor Ground
22 Shrewsbury - Gay Meadow
23 Swansea - Vetch Field
24 Brighton - Goldstone, Withdean
25 Southampton - The Dell
26 Man City - Maine Road
27 Hull City - Boothferry Park

Does the old Dean Cout count seeing as it's only been moved round by 90 degrees?
