Thought so. Had a good scout around, 'cos let's face it, if you're smart, you'll have booked annual leave for the following week (Tues,Wed & Thurs) to give yourself a nice long break. Anyway digressing from the fact that it would have been good to watch this one on the screen somewhere with a good atmosphere. Still, looks like I'll have to save all that for the following day.

Its not on telly yet the local plod have allowed the match to move from Saturday 3pm to kick off at 7.45 on a Thursday night?

I guess it's to avoid both sets of fans starting drinking at 11am on the Saturday. In seasons gone by, the game always seemed to be played at 1pm on a Sunday. Not sure why the game isn't being played at 1pm on Good Friday though.

It was originally switched to the Good Friday but due to the cost of policing and on religious grounds it was switched to the Thursday night. Why not switch it to a Saturday morning kick-off?
This does help Norwich as their next game is on a Monday giving them 4 days rest. I think they play Derby on the Monday who will have had just two days rest.
