TBF, Brendy, you might want to give it an extra 30 mins just in case - you can always stand at the bus stop with a few cans

Far be it from me to question the professionals at Reading Buses, but is 15 minutes sufficient to allow for heavier Friday night traffic?

Would have thought that most people tend to leave earlier on a Friday than a weekday so A33 traffic at 7pm on a Friday is probably a lot light than 7pm on a Monday to Thursday

But surely you've got a lot of people going away for the weekend on the roads who wouldn't normally be there :?:

Regardless of it being Friday night, bringing the times forward 15 minutes closer to rush hour also carries an inherent risk of higher traffic.

Reading Buses is teamed by dedic8ed professionals who've already forgotten what I'm still to learn about bus timetabling, but I'm still left wondering if they've made a terrible mistake here.

it is apparently hard enough for them to get the buses out of the regular service in time for an 8pm kick off service

they will be struggling more to get them out of service 15 minutes earlier.

The buses are due at the stadium around 30 minutes before kick off, so if the traffic is heavier there is still time to get there before kick off.

I am confident the vast majority of the buses will make it to the ground before kick off
