Which brings us to the call CFCnet received at 1pm on Saturday whilst we watched Arsenal’s crowd shout ‘Olé’ as their players sweetly passed the ball to each other before throwing away another 3 points at the altar of the ‘beautiful game’. Wenger throwing his bottle on the ground was the funniest thing we’ve seen all season.
Anyway, said contact told us that the CEO of Chelsea, Ron Gourlay, had/has been having an extra marital affair and that at a recent Club function, Wilkins wife had gone up to Ron’s wife and told her squarely that her husband was seeing another woman. That sealed Wilkins fate and led to his sudden departure.

Do we believe this rumour? With some of London’s top lawyers on the payroll of Chelsea FC we need to put on record that we do not believe this rumour whatsoever. It is 100% blatantly false.
You, dear reader, with no lawyer looking over your shoulder, are free to believe whatever you think. At least until the Club put out a more honest statement. "

CheLOLsea vs Everton (Alan Ball, Howard Kendall etc playing for Everton, Charlie Cooke, Bobby Tambling etc for CheLOLsea) was the first game I ever went to, taken by my grandfather who went every week.
Went to several others as well. Fortunately for me I moved to East Berks and found real football at Elm Park.
My poor old Grandad would be loving the financed success, but would be turning in his grave if he new the shambles that occurs down their now.

I take it you never saw the Shed and its surroundings with 8000 fans rattling around it.

Been their done it sonny. You newer glory seeking fans need bringing down a peg or two
