Survey on Buying Tickets

by Svlad Cjelli » 24 May 2011 10:52

Apologies for the separate thread - but I don't want this to get lost amongst multiple other, 64-page threads.

The Tilehurst End has put together a quick survey to get everyone's experiences on the ticket-buying process, to get some definitive data on how it all went. This will only take a minute to complete - so please help by sharing your experiences if you bought tickets, whether you bought in person, by phone or on-line, and whether your experience was good or bad.

Relevant page explain the survey, with link : http://thetilehurstend.co.uk/2011/05/24/play-off-final-tickets-how-was-it-for-you…was-it-for-you/

Direct link to survey : http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RFCTix

Mods - please can you sticky and lock this, then delete after Monday?

Done. Some of the people who didn't have a 'mare should do this so it looks vaguely balanced...

Yep - definitely want good as well as bad experiences, so want ALL ticket-buyers to complete this.

The survey doesn't convey how many people abandoned trying to use the useless online system then either called or headed down to the stadium.

I phoned and the worst you could say about that was it was very busy! Big deal.

But there is a box (two boxes) on the last page to explain the actual experience you had.

I know and I made my points there, but if 1000 people do the survey and 500 who would have booked online but then phoned say the phone system was OK or busy it misses the point that the online system was a joke. Who's going to look at a lot of comments?

The poor sap who analyses the data.

Maybe I should start a thread moaning about the survey that's moaning about Ticketzone

If the survey brings about future improvements then job well done. Sure, it was a pain not being able to book online and I had to wait for 45 minutes to speak to someone but once I did get through I was met with a very professional, polite and efficient rep.

As much as anything else it's to provide proper evidence to Ticketzone & Wembley of the extent of the problems - too often you go to suppliers and they say "it was an isolated problem that affected very few people." This will give definite evidence that it wasn't anything like that. And when clubs next sign up with TZ they'll hopefully see the figures and think twice about that decision.
