I had to LOL this morning, when 'cheeky cockney geezer' Olly Murs appeared on Talksport this morning being interviewed about his beloved Man Utd. A massive  when he announced that he will actually miss most of the match as he performing tonight.

Isnt there only 25,000 tickets for Utd fans? - and wasn't it only given to season ticket holders who have been to all 10 home (cup) games?

So at least the Utd section tonight will be full of their loyal fans

I've just been told to south west trains from Guildford and Surbiton are chocca.

That explains it.

As it happens there is a United fan in black sitting next to me, but we're in first class, he's 60+ and appears to be checking his shares on his ipad. I'm fairly certain he will not be appearing in a danny dyer fronted documentary any time soon...

Went to the Comminuty shield final at the millenium v Liverpool. All Liverpool fans were asian and from Slough. Didn't hear many Scouse accents that day.

Community Shield, not even a proper match, waste of time and money.

A glorified kick about.

Good day out for the tourists.
Community Shield - right up there with the 'big games' innit.

So even though they were Asian and from Slough all wearing Liverpool shirts, they're not Liverpool fans?

I wouldn't be seen dead going to a match like that, let alone mention the fact that I did.
Did you go from Paddington then you mug?

Corporate hospitality?
Living the dream eh...sounds like a wonderful day out, enjoying a top, top match like that.

So catching the train from Reading you of course would know that all the Asian Liverpool fans came onto the train from Slough station you mug.

Talking out of your hoop.

still not understanding the love-in by many, for a team that they have no birthplace/upbringing allegiance to.

To be fair to this, my three visits to anfield have also been a major case of "spot the Scouse Accent", because there weren't many that I heard. All I heard was Scandinavians in the Arkell.

Although I did hear a Scouser chant "Going down" after we'd done them in the Cup. Mug

Tickets were sold on the basis, of those who had been to ALL 10 home and away champions league games, then 9, then 8 etc.. all the others went into a ballot.
