Come on you Swiss. At least Jack Wilshere will get another rest next summer.

Why do England players save their worst for internationals? I've never seen Hart look so sluggish in my life.

Milner was absolutely to blame for the second - what's the point of lining up a wall then having half of it run away leaving a direct route to goal

Don't know why you're laughing, I doubt very much that anyone that has commented is 'having a nice day out' at the match.

The 4-5-1/4-3-3 works best with goalscoring wide players and most importantly a player who can play as an advanced midfield player or deep lying striker. The England selection had none of those. It was better when Young came on as at least one of the criteria was fulfilled then and I thought England would win once it went 2-2 but for some reason Bent's miss seemed to drain England although they created another very good chance which Young fluffed. Hanging on at the end.

Hart concentration was poor although Milner let him down on the second. I would pick Ben Foster next match - d'oh. As for Walcott no wonder we sent him out on loan to Staines Town and Telstar. Doesn't look good enough for Championship football yet. Surprised we offered him a contract last week.

You know what - uncharacteristically obnoxious is a good description of how I feel at the moment. Just cannot seem to shake the massive black cloud that is sitting right over everything, seeing everything through STGs. I'm sure it will pass, just need to vent my spleen for a bit. :D

Dreadful game, dreadful performance, dreadful manager. Anyone catch Cappello's interview on R5L after the game where he - I think - was saying June not a good time for England players! One wonders why we bother entering these competitions then if that's the case.

Yet again another performance to prove how the greed of top clubs, and the cascade effect that that has, has ruined the English game.

The FA can ofcourse choose when to play these games as well.

Sadly it was just another excuse to hide the poor performance from so many.

Talksport reckin its down to a lack of motivation...to play for your country!?

There's no money in playing for your country - they're all more interested in the money than the prestige of playing for your country. Nice of Crouch to say he won't be available to play for England under Capello any more - because he wasn't chosen to play yesterday. Spoilt brat.

As all major finals are played in June its a bizarre thing for Capello to have said and smacks of a very poor excuse.

Don't you think it's just that England players aren't really very good?
