The 4-5-1/4-3-3 works best with goalscoring wide players and most importantly a player who can play as an advanced midfield player or deep lying striker. The England selection had none of those. It was better when Young came on as at least one of the criteria was fulfilled then and I thought England would win once it went 2-2 but for some reason Bent's miss seemed to drain England although they created another very good chance which Young fluffed. Hanging on at the end.

Hart concentration was poor although Milner let him down on the second. I would pick Ben Foster next match - d'oh. As for Walcott no wonder we sent him out on loan to Staines Town and Telstar. Doesn't look good enough for Championship football yet. Surprised we offered him a contract last week.

You know what - uncharacteristically obnoxious is a good description of how I feel at the moment. Just cannot seem to shake the massive black cloud that is sitting right over everything, seeing everything through STGs. I'm sure it will pass, just need to vent my spleen for a bit.
