SHORT AND CURLY
No Fixed Abode Reading should have modelled their stadium similar to Loftus Road. The atmopshere would be much better.

Can tell you have never been to the dump that is LR.
I cant even sit down in the poxy seats, the concourse is no more than a corridor, the prices are high and the ground is soulless!
Apart from that its OK

Er hello. I worked for QPR during the summer for two years helping out the community officers.

Out of interest - why didn't QPR have an open top bus parade for the fans to celebrate?.......

Loftus Road is brilliant as long as you are no taller than 5' 8".

....are sat in the front two rows of the upper tier, and you don't mind paying extortionate prices for the privelege of relegation zone Premier League football.

what's happened to qpr? they have these billionaire owners who were prepared to splash out to win promotion and now they're there they don't want to part with their money. tarrabt is now engineering a move to newcastle because qpr have offered him a new 4 year deal on the same terms! he's responded by saying he expects qpr to get relegated if they keep the same team that went up together. he's right too. a brilliant player but has an awful temperament, but you can understand why he feels disillusioned at a surprisingly tight-fisted club.

Ok there are some differences, but in general, does this not remind anyone else of a certain club in the Thames Valley?

not us, no. we didn't splash out to get promoted, we always worked to a strict budget and that team had largely been together for a number of years with one 'big' signing every summer, topping out at £1m for lita but ususlly around the £800k mark. when we were in the premiership we offered sidwell an improved contract but he wanted a new challenge and opted to leave on a free. very few similarities in this instance.

And you couldn't describe our owner as a billionaire.

I think the 106 team was also considerably better than QPR this season; therefore, they didn't need to add a lot to the tram to make it not only survive in the Prem, but finish 8th. Our problems came by not investing in the Summer before the 2nd season in the Prem.

But that has been debated to death on this forum.

QPR have to spend some money to survive in the Prem; hugely arrogant of them to think they don't need to. Both Norwich and Swansea are hard at recruiting decent players already.

I don't think we're not going to sign anyone, as for Adel, he's playing the same game as the owners, holding out for more money.

I don't know who he's trying to kid about staying at QPR for 4 years, even if they get relegated. I want him to get ruined in the Prem and to prove again why he cant make it in that league.

I think most fans hope the board takes 10m for him, and i would personally pay his taxi fare to whoever he signed for.

Ungrateful fecker.

I still think he's overrated and you can't get away with playing a team of 10 plus him in the Premier League. Selling him now will mean you'll get the best deal you can.
