Whilst I understand where you are coming from Compo - the circumstances of his death were particularly tragic. Additionally, the fact that he is, well was, a ST holder means that he also had a strong emotional bond with the club.

In an age when clubs are criticized for abandoning the average fan - gestures like these are not that hard to do.

If he just went to the odd game I'd agree that it would be going over the top.....its not like these sets of events happen every year at Reading.
