Weekend Football 06/08 - the new season

Bristol Rovers currently spoiling Wimbledon's party (2-1) but it could have been a lot different if Wimbledon had someone who could put the ball in the net - they miss Kedwell

Man City currently beating Coventry 1-0 - 2 sent off in the first half (Vassell and Baker)

Leicester City, presumably. From the text on BBC it reads like two straight reds, Vassell after only 10 minutes.

Bad luck Wimbledon. Thought they were going to emulate our Premier League debut turnaround against Middlesbrough.

... well done Radio Baaarks round up too - Georgie (?) giving 'latest news' from Brighton that they'd lost their Stadium Opener 0-1 vs Donny - the MadStad Tele's had shown the result as 2-1 half hour earlier - unfortunately they were right.

Seagoons won in the last minute - Gus P went mental.

... and more S.Coast joy unbridled as the 'Scummers' are currently 2-0 up vs 'mighty' Leeds. :?

2nd half just started.....

Cherries go down 0-3 at Charlton though.

Swine win 3-0 v Alex and Aldersh!t triumph 2-1 @ Bradford
Gills win 1-0 v Cheltenham and Gulls 2-2 with Burton - think Oxford U lost 0-1 @ Rotherham - had Doobs playing. (it is him isn't it?)

UPDATE Scummers 3 up now....

Big win for Barnet in the early season relegation-to-the-conference-six-pointer away at Morecambe.
