Joey Barton has succeeded in totally changing my opinion of him in the space of 4 tweets

@piersmorgan I was merely helping him regain his obviously dodgy balance #cheatingbarsteward

@piersmorgan no argument from me there mate. All natural my barnet though, no plum rinses or hairplugs here Piersy

Bad shirt, shoes and views from shearer again. Sort it out slaphead........

Who died and made Brian Woolnough an oracle on football. Has this nugget ever been part of a team or played any form of the game????

I like Joey. I think he plays like more players should, though he could be tamed a tiny bit more. And he says what he thinks, whats normally better than not (Unless you are Goodwillie)

The only problem with that, is Barton is a thuggish cretin, so what he "thinks" is not worth saying.

Been impressed with Etherington, was on my fantasy football transfer shortlist. Not now, that shoulder looks sore.

Begovic more than playing his part for Stoke. Several telling saves, including one tipped onto the bar from Anelka.

Why did fwank not get a yellow for that dive?

Yes there was contact, but only after he'd started diving

Cardiff 3-0 up against Bristol City.

You can already see Bristol struggling, whilst you can see Cardiff being more of a team compared to the collection of overrated prima donnas they were last season.

Go to the game yesterday AP? Was in the Gulls end with friends, well deserved win for 'Quay, new strikers Howe and Atieno were a handful and will hopefully score quite a few this season, Lee Mansell was superb in the middle. Rovers I imagine will be up there come the end of the season with the squad they have but Buckle has signed a lot of players and may need time getting to know what his best team is.

Unfortunately no I was playing cricket, so i'm going to Aldershot on Tuesday. I went to S8nts on Tuesday and both of them played well there, Mansell played most of last season at right back because Buckle never bought one. Also Howe ended last season at Rovers, they could have taken him on a free and instead they paid money for Matt HarroLOLd, a bloke that's never scored more than 9 goals in a season. I know who my money's on to notch a decent amount this season. Rovers will probably be top 7 but that was a great result yesterday for the 'Quay. Having arranged a move to Rovers while our season was still in progress, shafted us in terms of not signing a couple of the loan players as well as giving Branston a new contract because he knew he was off and thirdly nicking half of our squad, that was a somewhat sweet victory.
