I've no idea how Kebe played last night but I do know that highlights rarely show anything but what someone editing them together want them to.

That Kebe appears to have been involved in a good number of the highlights might suggest he had a good game but it doesn't mean he was consistent or that anyone else was any better or worse.

Kebe was good in the first half when all of our decent play came down the right. He was not so good in the 2nd half but considering we were playing hoofball it wasnt a surprise.

Pompeys midfield controlled the game, Karacan ran about doing absolutely nothing and as hard Jobi tried to beat a man he couldn't. & pearce's hoofing was mills like.

Positives were feds & Khumalo, plus the beasts workrate is 2nd to none.

I've not seen the goal on the telly yet but it sounds like it was another goal from with 6 yards following a high ball into the box.

I know it was a corner but what happened with the defending?

highball into the 6 yard box = goal keepers, surely?

Can't be bothered to watch the highlights. More important things to do :?

Well, what do you make of the fact that our current strikers have scored four between in them in the first three games?

well what do you make of the fact we have won 1 in 3 and if we average 4 points every 3 games we wont go up? no goals from other areas of the pitch and other teams scoring a lot more?

Four points every three games is not enough; four points every two games is plenty. However, we didn't suddenly go from being a 92 point/92 goal team to being a 61 point/61 goal team by losing away to Pompey. so I'll reserve judgment on the stats at this stage. If we don't win against Barnsely, you won't find me arguing with anyone's negative assessment.

Of course, but you won't see me getting my knickers in a twist about an early season defeat at a stadium where we have a shocking record.

An STG could at the moment say that our "excellent" result at Leicester is currently being put into context by Bristol City's early lead, and that we really are a mid-table side.

I'm not going to say that. I'm merely going to say:

              Leicester.

That was kind of my initial thoughts Zac, just wondered if it was anywhere near accurate.

Federici has been getting quite a bit of praise for another couple of saves, just wondering if he wasted that with another soft goal conceded.
