Charlton tickets

by Sidindaclub » 07 Aug 2011 19:34

Hey does anyone know, theres been no ticket update or anything about the charlton tickets.

Went to try and buy them on saturday night, and the infamous online ticketing website doesnt have anything on there.

Was there a deadline of friday to order away tickets to be posted out that i missed? Can i pay on the day, howmany tickets have we sold?

I bought a couple last Tuesday or Wednesday, and a little counter went down from 50 to 48 so that possibly means there was only 48 left middle of last week. Wouldn't therefore be surprised if they were sold out

I've not had them delivered yet though, fingers crossed they come in good time tomorrow...

parky 08 Aug 2011 12:38 We've sold 400 tickets so far, the club has returned the tickets to Charlton now so pay on the day on tues for anyone else. It is however cash only at their ticket office.

Our allocation is just over 1000 so if that's true that's pretty impressive.

"Tickets for the original date remain valid, and if you cannot make the new date then refunds are available from the Madejski Stadium ticket office; you must produce the original ticket and refunds are not possible from 48 hours before the game."

More tickets on sale now too.

Looks like I have to go then seeing as it would cost me £42 to get a £10 refund.

And £2 kids. In for that, tho I'm expecting us to go out at the Valley.

League Cup has to be cheap, it's a reserve game in these early rounds; that said good on RFC for lowering the prices that much and good on the other clubs who significantly reduce ticket prices for these games, as Charlton have done too i believe - it's not an attractive competition for fans of the teams who won't win it so anything to fill the grounds is a good idea IMO.
