manny96 That's what they said about the workplace in general but black people are still routinely discriminated against when it comes to applying for jobs. Studies still show that typically 'black' names are less likely to get to the interview stage despite identical qualifications.

Well that just shows they're thick for not changing their name really doesn't it

I've just hired someone, and from his name we were expecting a german or scandinavian fella. Instead a small, black caribbean guy turned up to interview.

I think we should allocate 2 lanes in next years Olympic 100m final to Whites. Give them a chance.

the majority of managers are ex players, so as there are a lot of black players in the game today than 20 years ago means in the next 20 years we will start to see a big increase in black managers.

the fact there are so few right now is purely down to the fact they just aren't good enough, not because there is racism in football.

There's a book that is often cited Soccernomics/Why England Lose and they actually go through the stats of this and show roughly when black players became less discriminated against. It's surprisingly late.

That's where I got the idea from, pretty confident of the accuracy of it.

Give it ten years and then we can criticise.
