I just read it was €25.5M transfer fee. Didn't realise it was so much.

No doubt he will be sold by the Glazers in order to pay off their interest payments in the Summer.

They must've signed within a few days of each other then

They have compared Ronaldo to Nani after their first 100 games at United. Both had/have 19 goals, but Nani is way ahead on assists.

Shows how meteoric Ronaldo's improvement was, as he must be averaging around a goal a game since his 50 goal season with United.

Edit, not quite, 159 goals in 187 games since the start of 2007/08.

Messi has something in the region of 160 goals in his last 200 games, too, although that includes 'only' 16 in 40 games in 2007/08, so he has been running at about a goal a game for three years.

They are both machines. Both topped 50 goals last season, iirc.

Anderson was €30m/£26.2m. The fifth most expensive player in Man Utd's history.

He improving, maybe he'll go on to justify that outlay.

Nani, FWIW, should have won the player of the year last year. I don't think Man Utd would have won the league without him. Didn't fegusson leave him out in the CL final? He must have been gutted.
