Can't believe there isn't a thread on this yet. Anyway, the nominees for the Team of the Year has been announced, below are the 55 nominees.

Fourteen players make their debut on the shortlist for the FIFA FIFPro World XI: Sergio Agüero, Sergio Busquets, Edinson Cavani, Radamel Falcao, Mario Gómez, Vincent Kompany, David Luiz, Nani, Manuel Neuer, Neymar, Robin van Persie, David Silva, Luis Suárez and Victor Valdes.

Barcelona is the team with the most players on this year’s World XI shortlist. The reigning European and Spanish champions have twelve players nominated, one more than arch rivals Real Madrid. Manchester United is third with 6 players.

For the first time in the seven-year history of the World XI a player from a non European club has made the shortlist: Neymar, the Brazilian attacker of South American champions Santos.
