Terminal Boardom
SpaceCruiser Have you forgotten that we wore red away shirts in 1994/5?

Firstly, corrected for you.

Just googled to check what is the correct usage, apparently either is fine, just that "forgotten" is what the Americans use more than we do.

Terminal Boredom Thirdly, the arrowhead shirt that you refer to during the HAT era was one that I liked to the extent that I actually bought a copy. And it looked nothing like s*indon's shirt.

Well, I only brought it up to demonstrate that we had red in our away colours as far back as then. You were moaning about the club crest. Although I do accept your point about looking like Swindon, but it's not the primary colour of Reading, FFS.

Really? I don't recall moaning about the club crest. i commented that I acknowledged there was a shade of red on the crest to coincinde with the move to the Mad Stad as well as the design of the away kit that year which, for your information, I liked to the extent that I bought it.

I always opt for the large. I actually tried it on after reading about the possible sizing issues. I might wear it at some point. :?

i always buy a large for a comfortable fit but this year my large has become an xxl. xl is too tight. i'm only 4lbs heavier than last year. do they even do an xxl?

update:

returned large and tried on an xxl. much better fit but with the design of the shirt i just felt uncomfortable in it and decided i'll have the red away shirt then. i get home and try it on thinking xxl will be the same size as the home xxl, and it was, with the exception of the sleeves which were far too long. (halfway between my wrist and elbow)

the club apologised and admitted there's been a cock-up with the templates. i hope the football club have gone back to puma with a show of dissatisfaction. when is their contract up again?

back to the shop today to return the away shirt and settle for a polo shirt instead, so no new home/away shirt for me. thank you puma!

Perhaps someone at West Ham will offer to buy it from you .....

I bought the red one on Sat - much nicer than the blue and white one.

Yes I am a fat Cnut but xxxl used to fit with room to spare but now I haven't got a chance. I am not the only one there are plenty of us portly chaps at the Madstad so why don't they make them bigger.?
Reading FC really do try your patience, shit shop, shit refreshment service, shit stewarding, shit safety gate, shit no hoops anymore, shit web site, shit Facebook , shit Twitter, shit big flag.
Do they ever take any notice of that questionnaire thing they send you each year? I don't think so.

Had no other choice than to post it here but - do Reading still sell the Friday; simple hooped shirts with the red 9 upon the back?

I would like one, very much so and it's bloody disappointing I can't find it online any longer. Do they still sell them in store?

There's this one from Toffs. I don't think it has the red 9 on the back, but you can easily find someone to print you one on the back.
