Honestly, why doesn't the bloke just retire? Out for the rest of the season.

As then he wouldn't get paid thousands of pounds a week.

Quite awful luck and I've never read that he has conditioning, fitness or attitude problems, only his determination to get himself fit to play, so the cynicism above is undeserved. Here's hoping that at 32, if he can get fit (and it's a big if) he has another couple of seasons in him, because he is a decent enough attacking midfielder.

Perhaps most  is that Dyer has almost 400 career appearances to his name.

He's only on a pay as you play deal anyway. Low risk to QPR, but agree he should call time on his career. The insurance payout may actually prove more than what he'll make in future appearances.

Actually considering his injury history I would say his conditioning levels are shocking, which is not really his fault, more the coaches and specialists he has worked with in the past. There is no way you can blame his injury record on awful luck that is for sure!

There have been plenty of stories / rumours about his attitude, and indeed booze consumption which certainly, if true, won't have helped his conditioning.

350 were probably before he was 23.

I guess he came on the scene around the same time as Michael Owen? 2 cases of too much football at a young age perhaps?

Makes you wonder whether this long break Wilshere is going through might not be a good thing in the long run.
