Jerry St Clair
Svlad Cjelli Don't think they're that sophisticated. Kean was never going to be popular as he was unkown and untested whilst the the Venky's promised the moon on stick to the fans and have failed to deliver anything.

There's a bit more to it than this.

When Venky's bought Blackburn, they were being advised by an agent called Jerome Anderson. He recommended the appointment of Steve Kean (who was one of his clients) as manager along with his son Myles Anderson as Kean's assistant. Myles having been unsuccessful at a number of lower league Scottish clubs.

Venky's refuse to answer fans questions, have flown pro-Kean and Venky's fans out to India for discussions on the situation and cannot explain the club's management structure.

Having said that, I don't understand why the fans don't aim their vitriol at Venky's. Even if Kean goes, they still have the same problem.

I thought Myles Anderson was on the playing staff rather than Kean's assistant, albeit on a tidy contract despite being too shite to hold down a regular start in the Scottish Third Division?

LoyalRoyalFan Does anyone else think their continued anti-Kean stance is particularly harsh on Steve Kean?

Would you want him as our manager? Managers always get it in the neck if they aren't up to the job and Kean is no different. He should have been sacked long ago and they're quite rightly a little pissed off he's still somehow in a job and obviously taking them down!

Watched this last night, love a good bit of anger/hatred at games. Great stuff seeing the blakburn fans raging and spitting feathers while the bolton fans bounced around the away end on the jolly taking the piss at every opportunity. Blackburn fans having to be held back lol, kean better move to a different part of the country.

I am now convinced there's something to this money laundering story or that they are all involved in some scam, because there is absolutely no way Kean should be in charge there anymore.

Player for player there is no way Blackburn are the worst team in the division, ironic (if true) they sacked Allardyce because of the style of football yet Blackburn were only effective last night when they chucked Samba up there and got Robinson to launch it, and as others have said if it wasn't for Yakubu they'd have about 5 points right now. if Big Sam was still there Blackburn with that squad would be about 12th right now.

That must have been horrendous for Kean last night, there is no way back and that improved contract he signed, LOL. The bloke is mental if he thinks he can 'turn it around' 99% of their supporters want him gone, they are bottom of the league, won 2 games all season they are doomed if they carry on like this. I often feel managers take too much responsibility for bad and good results as a lot of it is about players in my opinion, but Blackburn have a lot better players than 10 points all season and there is a horrible atmosphere at that club now which can only be improved by first Kean going and 2nd Venkys.

They will be relegated and have crowds of about 10,000.

The icing on the cake would be for Steve Kean to be awarded player of the season by Burnley FC supporters. If the media are to be believed, I am really struggling to think of any club in recent history where the fans and local media have turned completely against a Manager.

Thus he's fulfilling his job descriptions of Chief Scapegoat and Owner Shield admirably.

When (rather than if) Steve Kean goes, the new Manager who comes in will presumably be told that the kitty is as bare as it is for Steve Kean; therefore, the new Manager would have to stave off relegation without the usual fall back of throwing vast sums of money at it.

If I was Mark Hughes, I wouldn't touch this job with a barge pole.

Presumably a new manager would need to sell to buy - not that Blackburn have any particularly sought-after players, or the ability to attract new ones.

Robinson, Samba, Nelson, Dann, Pedersen, Dunn, Yakubu could all do jobs for decent sides in the PL. Hoilett looks decent as well as a young player.

Blackburn's side is never the worst in the division, ownership issues aside, Kean's managerial record is the worst in the division. He is absolutely DUMP.

Didn't he also get done for drink driving?

He's a troubled man, he needs some time away from the game to get his life back on track. Live stress free for a while,

Ian Branfoot at Saints?

When Keano gets the sack as he inevitably will he can always go back to driving the RFC academy coach. Don't get the sympathy for the bloke; he is paid a handsome wage in a results business and his results are appaling.

On the contrary, it'd be win-win.

Get offered a 3 year deal. Stay up and get regarded as a mirace worker.

Go down, people would blame Kean and the owners, and get nice a fat pay-off.

On SSN earlier they showed clips of Reading fans protesting against Bullivant as a similar example of what Kean's getting at Ewood

Anybody else feel shocked and appalled at watching the unremitting abuse that Steve Kean has been taking (not only his fans, but the local paper and even the local MP, Jack "Illegal war in Iraq" Straw) given the context of Gary Speed's tragic death recently?

Gary Speed's death has nothing to do with this.
