We also weren't allowed to call it a "black board" - had to be a "chalk board" and it wasn't "Ba Ba black sheep" but "Ba Ba rainbow sheep"

Ian Royal I'm guessing when people were taught not to use black it was without anyone having actually asked any black people.
Why on earth would you call them coloured? They aren't purple!
And lets face it, anyone who doesn't know "coloured" isn't an acceptable term must have been frozen in a stasis tank for the last 20 years. Still, apology and lesson learned is all that's needed.
