English El Classico part 2 - Sunday

by No Fixed Abode » 01 Feb 2012 11:54

Interesting prospect this one.

Chelsea need to win to keep the gap from 4th to 5th. United need to win to keep the pressure on City, who will surely win their next game.

This looks desperately one-sided, even with a below strength Man United, at least you'll stay above Liverpool until Monday night though Kes

Well, seeing as we're 4 points above Liverpool, I think we'll be above them regardless of the results at the weekend.

I'm gunna completely guess how the goal was, and i promise i havent seen the game or reports, it was either one of
1) a Frank Lampard deflected goal
2) a Frank Lampard penalty
3) an own goal.

Fair point yesterday. Two dodgy defences. Gr8 game though.

You must be the only Chelsea fan who thinks that was a fair point. That was 2 points lost and will feel like a defeat to that dressing room.

As for the English El Classico, I think you think Chelsea are a lot more important they really are. Good luck in your hunt for 4th place.

Maybe I am, but you can't really say a draw wasn't a fair result. Just a fair and balanced opinion on my behalf.

Although you seem a bit rattLOLed m8 - anything you want to tell us?

I don't know a Chelsea fan that would be so accepting of a point when they were 3-0 up in the second half. But credit to you, you're obviously quite accustomed to your new found Europa League challenging form. :D

Chelsea should be thrilled with the point, apart from 10 minutes they were very much second best

I tell you who else should be thrilled, Dave Lewis, signing at the same time as ToROFLROFLes means people somehow overlook the fact he's never been a defender

I think I would rather take the opinion of two ex professionals (Dublin & Dixon) than a Chelsea supporter trying to save face. Throwing away a 3-0 lead at home, so late on in the game will feel like a defeat, not a point gained. And if it does feel like a point gained then things are clearly bad at Chelsea.

Who's the Chelsea fan trying to save face?
