AthleticoSpizz this whole episode (and many like it) are really dragging the game down...and subsequently turning a lot of people off

But as they say......any publicity and all that

What turned people off attending games with you m8?

Raking over old coals?...you mistook me for someone else....you still do....M8

TheMaraudingDog

United were pro active in the kung fu saga and immediately banned Cantona for 5 months. That's called taking responsibility. They were also issuing apologetic statements.
Liverpool on the other hand....

Evra and Rio-Offended by everything.
Ashamed of nothing.

Dog,
The scum acted quickly because they knew what was coming-Fergie never said then that Cantona should never play again and welcomed him back with open arms.
One rule for one..............

Why would Suarez shake Evra's hand? That's insane.

Not that he's not a massive racist though.

Victor Meldrew Have just looked at the BBC clip on "Handshakegate".
Suarez offered his hand to Ferdinand as he did to the other two black players at the end of the line but Ferdinand refused it.
What does that say about Ferdinand?
Nothing much really,he is just as much a dick as the traitor Evra,he who walked out on his country at the last world cup and he who preciously complained about that geezer at Chelsea.
Surprise, surprise, professional footballers not being the best of sportsmen.

Did anything happen immediately prior to Ferdinand not shaking Suarez's hand which might have prompted Ferdinand's refusal?

Even Kenny might have seen it by now.

Its a shame that all the Suarez talk has completey over shadowed how much Scholes dominated Gerrard yesterday. Almost felt embarrassed for Stevie G.

Scholes was very good. He should have done better with his unmarked header, though.

For such a great side you have to hand it to Harry for managing to win fcuck all with them.

The only thing that rattles is the Spurs net each time they play United.

Wahey! TMD 1-0 Frimmers.

LOL @ everyone involved in Handshakeg8, from Suarez - the Uruguayan Esther Rantzen - to Evra and his embarassing spaz out at the end to the slow-mos of Rio's gormless face during the Handshake. Laughable. Get rid of the pre-match handshake anyway, contrived and pointless nonsense given the contempt most of these spoileed millionaires have for each other.

Is there a more tedious derby than 'the black country derby' where both sides argue that the other isn't actually in the black country?
