Retired from tv work does the odd bit of radio. Spending his reirement at the Amex Arena.
My colleague married his son. Apparently his is still in fine fettle. For the son's stag do Des pre-recorded a question of sport style quiz on video for everyone to do on the stag.
eh? He was all over the media last week-end, going on about how BHA would beat Liverpool in the Cup.

On the radio yesterday on a new quiz show. He was quite good, but the show wasn't that good. He said something quite inappropriate about his agent.
Des was never as good once people realised and started saying how good he was in about 1990.
