Ricky Lambert for the England Euro's Squad

Absolutely serious point here - I think that Ricky Lambert is, after Rooney, the best English qualified striker playing at the moment; the guy is seriously on fire, and has never missed a penalty for the Saints. With Bent clearly not going to make it, why not take him to the Euro's rather than someone like Carroll who is a donkey?

If Lambert is to be considered then how about Danny Graham who did what Lambert has done in the Championship and has now done well in the Premier League?
The overall point I believe is that we should always look beyong the big clubs but generally we don't and has the team been successful in recent times?
Hopefully the new manager will have an open mind.
