"I am the manager and they are the fans," he told BBC Wiltshire.

"They should hope that I am the manager in the future because it's difficult to find another manager like me."

What a twat!

I think there are similarities between di Canio and Roy Keane as managers. While results are going well lesser players will accept his fiery style but if they get a few bad results in League One next season I think he could easily lose the dressing room and things might implode.

Just as with Keane I think di Canio will find it difficult to manage at the top level as, rightly or wrongly, players at that level expect more respect from their manager.

Di Canio would be gr8 to watch in a film similar to QPR's 4 Year Plan tbh

Whilst I accept that Di Canio seems to from the Martin Allen/Roy Keane school of management and it might just all blow up in his face the moment they go up, apart from the obvious bout of megalomania, I didn't see too much else wrong in what he said.

In essence, "95% of fans are reasonable and intelligent and can see what we are trying to do, 5% will always find something to moan about. Don't listen to the 5%"

I think it was the fact he started boasting about how good he is people took exception to.

How satisfying it was to see his little fascist face contorted with outrage and the inbreds down the road lose at Wembley via an own goal and the coup de grace issued by a player that shouldn't have even been on the pitch!
